Agenda: The Wedding Market

On October 19 and 20, 2024, the eighth edition of the Wedding Market will take place. The aim of this grand fair for lovers is to help create memorable moments, and what better setting to do so than a building with two thousand years of history? So come and dream about planning your ideal wedding.

Past and present constantly converge at Torre Bellesguard. On September 17, 1409, it hosted the marriage of a king, Martin I the Humane, and his fiancée, Margarita de Prades. The following weekend will be the backdrop for the eighth Wedding Market, the only meeting point for couples and wedding suppliers held in a work by Antoni Gaudí. A legendary environment for a magical occasion.

Innovation and Experience

This year will be the eighth time Torre Bellesguard welcomes the Wedding Market. Thanks to its carefully curated staging, from the beginning, this event has been an innovative proposal that, celebration after celebration, renews itself as a result of accumulated experience. With over 70 stands covering all stages of a wedding, on October 19 and 20, suppliers and couples will be able to meet in a relaxed and exclusive atmosphere. The experience includes a magical ambiance, with musical performances from artists that can be hired for future weddings, as well as a gastronomic area with experts in wedding catering.

In summary, “couples will be able to leave with their wedding completely planned, no matter what stage of the event organization they are in,” states Ángel Almendros, CEO of The Wedding Market, along with Sandra Vilar, its founder.

Everyone is Welcome

Although the market is aimed at couples with wedding plans, everyone is welcome; from guests to curious onlookers interested in having a good time, taking a look at the stalls and tasting the food offerings.

On the other hand, Torre Bellesguard, as mentioned at the beginning, is a space full of history and legends. It’s impossible to resist the temptation to learn about them. For this reason, during your visit to the Wedding Market, you can book a guided tour to discover the interior of the Tower and be amazed by the magnificent views from its rooftop, which is the reason for the property’s name: Bellesguard, “Beautiful View.”

If you wish to attend, tickets are already available online starting at 5 euros for entry to the market, and another ticket for 15 euros that includes the guided tour of Torre Bellesguard.
