Welcome to Torre Bellesguard, one of the most unknown and fascinating works of the architect Antoni Gaudí, who has recently opened its doors to share with all the extraordinary architectural and historical background that its walls treasure.
The visit to Torre Bellesguard allows us to get to know one of Gaudí’s most complex works from the architectural point of view, but also to take a walk through the history of Catalonia.
Bellesguard is much more than Gaudí: we find remains of Roman civilization, traces of kings, popes and princesses, legends and bandits, vestiges of a great medieval castle, gardens full of secrets and allegories … living history in every corner, which Gaudí interpreted for create one of his most symbolic, vindicating and personal works. A true castle with which he pays homage to the history and character of Martin I the Human, the last King of the Catalan dynasty of the Casal de Barcelona, who lived in Bellesguard until his death in 1410.
Torre Bellesguard offers two types of visits: the visit with audio guide, available in 6 languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Japanese and Russian, and during all opening hours; and the guided tour, by one of the Bellesguard guides, which can be done on weekends, in three languages: Catalan, Spanish and English.
Both visits cover the exterior and interior spaces, ending on the terraces, with unique views of 360º over the city of Barcelona.

It is a visit in which the visitor chooses the pace and duration of the visit. The exteriors are visited freely. The entrances to the house are made every 30 minutes with a companion who will guide the group through the interior spaces.
The audio guide is available in six languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Japanese and Russian.
The visit to the Bellesguard Tower is perfect for groups. No matter the size of the group, we will divide it into smaller groups for the entrances to the house. There will be a guide for every 18 people,
so that the exclusivity of the visit and the quality of the explanations will not be altered because of a large amount of people.

Torre Bellesguard offers the option of making customized visits for special groups, longer or shorter visits than usual, in other languages or at different times than scheduled.
Visits that focus more on some of the aspects of the visit: more historical, more architectural or focused in the history of medicine…
