Ten Editions Celebrating Love in a Unique Setting

By the Bellesguard Team

On October 24 and 25, Bellesguard will host one of its most special annual events: The Wedding Market. This year, the fair reaches a very special milestone: its tenth edition. What began as an innovative initiative to bring together the best wedding professionals and future couples has become, a decade later, one of the most anticipated events on Barcelona’s wedding calendar.

Led by Sandra Vilar, The Wedding Market has established itself as a benchmark for quality and innovation. For ten years, hundreds of couples have discovered ideas, services, and trends to help bring their dream wedding to life. Visitors can meet specialized companies from a wide range of sectors, including wedding planning, photography, decoration, floristry, bridal fashion, music, and gastronomy.

All of this takes place in a unique setting: Antoni Gaudí’s Torre Bellesguard, a remarkable architectural work surrounded by beautiful gardens that combines architecture, history, and landscape in an exceptional location at the foot of the Collserola mountain range.

It is also a place with a royal wedding in its history. On September 17, 1409, the former castle that gave Bellesguard its name hosted the marriage of Martin I of Aragon, known as Martin the Humane, and Margarida de Prades. Among the distinguished guests attending the ceremony were Benedict XIII, better known as Pope Luna, and Vincent Ferrer, who would later be canonized as a saint.

Bellesguard holds centuries of history and offers one of the finest views of Barcelona. We encourage you to discover this unique place during a weekend when love takes center stage.
