The Department of Culture of the Generalitat, together with Abacus, have prepared a podcast aimed at children and young people, called If the Walls Could Talk. It is a series of radio episodes of about 15 minutes that explain, in an entertaining and educational way, the main monuments of Catalonia. This year, on the occasion of the Gaudí Year, they have made a special about the architect, creating one episode for each of his works in Catalonia.

We wholeheartedly thank its creators for the work done and congratulate them on the result.

Below, we leave you the link to our episode, which has turned out spectacular. We hope you like it as much as we do:

A few brushstrokes…

There are buildings that have more than one life, as if they were actors who change roles without moving from their place. It seems like magic, right? The walls do not move, but what happens inside them changes over the years, as if each building were a book that is never completely written. Well, today we will travel to another magical place, which was a palace, orphanage, hospital, maternity ward and home. A house that looks like a pointed castle as if it wanted to touch the sky, with strong walls, narrow windows like curious eyes and a tower that watches over the city of Barcelona like an ancient guardian. This is because inside Bellesguard, many treasures are hidden in the form of legends, stories and symbols…
